My H's favorite uncle is divorcing his wife. Her decision. He built this house (literally, he built it with is friends) to accomodate her mom being in a wheel chair and customized a bathroom for her (she had a stroke).I'm thinking there is going to be some sort of negotiation to buy her portion of the house from her and then he'll live there. Her job is an hour away, so she is planning on putting mom in a home and moving to the city. He wants to try to reconnect after the mom goes into the home, but his wife says N.O. The mom has been the reason their relationship has gone in the crapper. He has been complaining about this from the day I met him.He is my favorite family member of H's. She was number 2. Her favorability rating slipping these days. I hope he doesn't lose the house. He built it not only for the mom, but for the entire family. We always go there for holidays. I have happy memories there.
