Ceremony Programs

Hi Everyone!
I havn't posted on here too much, but my wedding is on July 28th!
I just finished my mock up of my wedding ceremony program, but I'm wondering how many I need to make...If I have 150 guests (about 10 would be children) do I need to make 150? does everyone get one or is it one per family?

Hi! We have the same first name, but I spell my name with 1 L

My mom is making the programs and I think we are going to do one per guest. We figured people would have something to read as they wait for the ceremony to start and we would like to keep a few as mementos.

If I were you I would make 100. As a guest, every wedding my FI and I have attended we would only accept one program and share.

I have 130 guests and I am making 70 programs. Not everyone will want one so I don't want to make more than I have to. Plus most of our guests are couples so they'll most likely share a program.

If I were you, I'd make 85-90 programs since 10 of your guests are children.

I'd make no more than 100. Not everyone will take one. I think typically the ratio is one per couple.

I am having 280 people, but I know not everyone will go to the church. I only ordered 50 which i think will be plenty for my ceremony since like i mentioned not everyone will be attending the church ceremony.

I think you will be fine with what PP's mention if you think that everyone will be going to your ceremony.

side question:
We are expecting 250, my FI told me many of the guests he invited won't come to the ceremony. It isn't a big deal to him but it bothers me a little. How do you feel about guests doing that?

Carla, that would totally bother me. If it's standard in his circle, I guess you shouldn't be insulted. If that happened to me, I would be pretty upset.

It doesn't bother me as long as their part of the day somehow. There has been plenty of times where I couldn't attend the ceremony part.

It would bother me too, unless guests weren't coming because there was a huge gap in time between the ceremony and reception.
