Wedding Woes

Possibly a weird question

Do your ear piercings reject dangly earrings?  As in, do they somehow despite not having muscles manage to work the ear wire to its very edge and then shoot it out of your ear?

Re: Possibly a weird question

  • Yes.  They make little rubber backs to put on them though.
  • Yes. Use pencil erasers to keep them on.

  • I think it depends on the earrings. I have a few pairs that will work themselves half way out, but the rubber pack keeps them on. I will constantly keep pulling them back in place.

  • really light weight ones, yes.  I use the little rubber backs that come on them when you buy them.

  • Ah!  I will have to do that more consistently.  I'm glad I'm not the only one whose ears do this.

  • Hi,I make beaded jewelry. This can happen if the earrings are light and/or if the wire is not shaped correctly. Try bending the wire so that the earrings fit a little tighter in your ear. This is especially helpful if the rubber things are missing or if they aren't working.
