My fast will end on Thur. Truth be told, it hasn't been bad.I gave up fast food, and eating out. Y'all know this has been a major challenge for me, but I feel better all the way around for participating. My sis only ate veggies and fruit. This was big for her because she never eats them. The fast ends on Wed on the last day of our Fall Revival.I'll post the link on fb if anyone wants to watch the service tonight at 7. It's going to be really good.

Good job!  So do you feel any better or different from doing this?  More importantly, where's the first place you are headed?

O, my pastor encouraged us to think about fasting leading up to our Fall Revival. It didn't have to be about food. It could have been tv or the internet, or any area that has started to consume you or keeping you distracted. That's why I choose fast food and eating out. It's an area that was getting out of control for me. I wanted to remove that distraction so that I could really open myself to hear the message that God is trying to tell me about my life.

Good plan.  I think that's wonderful, getting out the mess so you can re-focus.  Do you feel it worked?

Sounds a lot like the Lenten season for Catholics.

6, it has. I think that God wants me to push myself more, you know. Push myself to have a deeper relationship with him.I also feel better, and have more energy. The first week was hard. I think my body was in shock. I'm going to try and eat out once a week. No more.:)
