Bridesmaids/ Flower girl

Okay ladies I need some ideas on how to ask my bridesmaids to be in the wedding! I have my sister who will be the MOH, my cousin who is going to be bridesmaid along with my fiance's sister. I also want to ask another cousin to have her daughter be the flower girl. Need a cute way to ask them. ANY IDEAS?!?!?!

Well I think it depends on how you feel about it.. You can take em to lunch.. You can write them a letter or something sweet.. I think it really just depends.. I asked in person and since everyone was really close to me asking was the easiest way to do it for me.. My MOH... after i told her about it she was like I am your MOH right.. SO i really didnt have to ask her lol

LOL. Yeah that is how it will be with my sister. I like taking them to lunch. When my sister got married she got her bridesmaids and MOH a gift to ask them, so I wasn't sure if that was a wedding rule that I should follow or if asking them without a gift is okay?!

A gift is not necessary.  I think a lunch would be fun, or a girls night in with dinner and wine.

I ended up making cards for them (bridesmaids, flower girls, groomsmen, and ushers) asking them if they'd make our day sweeter by being a part of our bridal party, and baked and packaged bear-shaped sugar cookies for them.

Thanks for all the ideas. I love the idea of the homemade cookies :) I am going down to Cali at the end of the month for vacation and is planning on asking my cousin who lives down there then.

I picked out cards that I thought fit each of my girls personally, then wrote a very heartfelt message in each. I went through my photos and put a photo of me and each respective girl in the card, then mailed it. They loved them!
