Wedding Woes

Huh.

Someone (a distant relative) who loathed me in high school just sent me a Facebook friend request.  Does this happen a lot, or am I right to be pleasantly surprised?

I accepted.  I didn't have anything against her, even in high school, and wouldn't have been averse to being friends if she hadn't hated me so much.

Well, people change. I know I've changed since HS. So, it could be a pleasant surprise.

Oh, for two reasons I think, only one of them being actively my fault.  She already didn't like me because she had a big crush on a guy I had previously dated (remember that guy who kept contacting me and wanting to get together a couple years ago?  that one), but then she said something sh*tty to my best friend and I "made" her apologize.

I have gotten a lot of random friend requests from classmates I haven't seen/spoken to in 8 years.  I always accept them because I'm nosy and want to look at their pictures.
