Cant_wait!

I have a problem. My fourth toe on my right foot is numb, pretty much all the time. I could poke with a needle and feel little to nothing. It doesn't matter what shoes I'm wearing or anything, it's been like this for a few weeks.I webmd'd it, but it told me I have Gangrene, Diabetic neuropathy (I'm not diabetic), Frostbite, or Chemical burns. Any ideas?

lol wzz. I hope I haven't been poking an proding someone elses toe. Yes, I wear heels at least 3 times a week. I dread seeing my dr. He's so awkward.

Do you remember when it started? My big toes were completely numb for about 3 days after my wedding, but it was because I danced all night and I didn't take my shoes off because I'm not in middle school. Anyway, my point is if you wore tight shoes and/or did a ton of walking/running/dancing recently it might be that. 3 weeks is a long time though, you should probably get it checked out.

Duckis, I've noticed it's not numb when I'm barefoot. It's only when I have shoes on (and then it doesn't matter what kind of shoes, it's all shoes.)

yeah, I have 6 or 7 new pairs that I've been breaking in for the last few weeks. It could just be that.

I am going with pinched nerve secondary to breaking in new shoes. Work a pair of older shoes into the rotation and try adding in some cushion when you wear the heels. YWIA.

Definitely the pinched nerve suggestion .. the bottom os my Mom's left foot is numb due to a pinched nerve in her lower vertebra (I forget which ones). She refuses to have the surgery, but opts for the epidural treatment.
