Dear Amy: I have been dating a woman for a few months, and we frequently meet for dinner dates, and I always pay for the dinners without question. She is a single parent. On one occasion she and I were at a rather high-end restaurant, and at the end of the meal she picked up the menu and placed a full dinner order to go for her daughter who was at home.I have absolutely no problem with buying her daughter a meal, but I thought it was inappropriate to order a full dinner to go without even asking, "Would it be OK if I ordered something for my daughter?"Some time later I broached the subject with her and her response was, "No one ever questioned me for doing that, and when you date me, I have a daughter and it's a package deal."Can you offer any insight on this matter?- Mr. Doggie Bag
