i called the guy and he seems really nice. the only thing that sorta scared me is that he was telling me that i would have to call him about 10 days before my wedding to see if he had what i needed. he said he is only at pike place through june so after that we'd have to go to mt vernon to pick anything up. he said hydrangea run $2-4 per stem. I love hydrangea so I'll definitely look into him but 10 days prior freaks me out..

he told me that pike place probably has more variety of flowers...

jennyann-i know a bride got a SH!T ton of dahlia's for her wedding i remember it being really cheap for what she got.

Thanks for letting us know sarack...
I need white daisies with the black centers... no one can "promise" me that if I order them that they will all come with the black centers.... bull s! If I pay for something - I want what I ordered...

10 days would scare me too.. unfortunately I would keep looking.

oh i'm definitely going to look elsewhere. i wanted to just follow leads and price hydrangea since it is one of my favorite flowers. but i'm sure some one at pikeplace will have EVERYTHING i want for a decent price!

Do you all know about the flower stand in the Kent/Auburn area? It's juuuuuust south of where the Smith Brothers Dairy was (is?) on West Valley Highway. I don't know specific types of flowers they grow, but I do know that bouquets there are HUGE and only $10. They are very, very nice too. My mom goes there weekly in the summer to get fresh flowers.

They may be at the Kent Farmer's Market on the weekends too. Don't know if that's too far south for anyone :o)
