**breezyblueyez**

hey there - I decided to make a new post since a) this is off topic and b) that other one was getting so long I thought my post might be lost

anyway, just wondering if you had any hair tips to share with a fellow curly-hair lover :)

hello there :)  how cool i got paged. lol :)  when i curl my hair (basically any time i go out)  i shellack it with Freeze It hairspray, before, during  and after the curl.  Freeze it is pretty cheap and u can get it at Target, Bartells, its in a gold bottle, it works wonders!  i can usually sleep through the curls with that spray!  and i always curl it on dirty hair.

    do u have long hair?

oh thanks :)  yeah, it was long and then I cut it in the winter and now it's growing out again - I think I'm going to try to get it semi-long because I've been messing around with getting that nice long curl you always see these days, like this:

I rarely do it though because I loose patience curling it by hand because I have pretty thick hair. what size curling iron do you use?

Ohhh i like that pic!  Yes i must do it when i am patient, because my hair is tough to hold a curl.  i use a 2'' barrel.  if my mom is around i will have her put my hair in hot rollers lol for some reason i just suck at it.  but that works wonders too and i use the blow dryer for a few seconds over the finished product.

**well that's annoying. I was trying to update my post because I realized I didn't say the following and then my internet got all sucky**

thanks for the tips!  I really like how your hair turned out in your trial (even though I know it wasn't what you were going for, I totally understand your point). I've tried a lot of different things and 50/50 I like how it turns out, so I'm still trying to figure out the best method :)

Anyway, I get annoyed because I know my hair CAN be curly - like if I have it defeused at the salon (how my stylist got my hair like that for the wedding, defused then curled), it gets really curly or if I sleep on it in a messy bun, so I know I can get that wet curly look - but for some reason the 'forced' curling iron curly doesn't always work.

i force mine sometimes by just piling on the spray lol.  it makes it look really shiny, just dont touch it haha.    i should ask my stylist sometime to use the deffuser. :) i love your wedding hair!

oh thanks!  Yeah, I guess it was unusual because he washed and deffused it before styling it (instead of having you come in with 'dirty' hair) - he's the only one that's ever gotten my hair to be like that and I was really happy with how it turned out.  here's some more that I like:

I *just* started break right now (in grad school) so I start to get obsessed with shopping and playing with my hair/make-up lol

thanks again for the tips, it's fun talking to someone about this stuff :)
