I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
  • I take it you've never seen the Lizard Man who has the split tongue? This is, I think, the only tongue augmentation (aside from clipping the underside) that doesn't heal back together. When I took my tongue ring out the hole closed within 24 hours.
  • ::cries::I actually knew a guy with a split tongue. He also had his eye teeth filed into points...We weren't friends.

  • TT, what is clipping the underside?  Although I'm not sure I want to know.

  • The underside clipping is done generally in small children. Sometimes the piece that attaches the tongue to the mouth is a little too long and the child has speech problems. Solution is to clip the piece to a "normal" length.2 of the kids I used to work with had it done. They loved the fact that their "homework" from the doctor was to stick out their tongues as much as possible.
  • I had the bottom part of my tounge clipped, TT. I wasn't given that awesome homework, and don't recall having any speech problems?

  • DH never had the underside of his tongue clipped.  27 is a little too old to do it now and he only has a problem licking an ice cream cone.
