You want a vibrator... and to tell your mom about it.  Or at least this girl does. Dear Prudie,I'm 16 years old and have an awkward dilemma. I'm thinking about buying a vibrator because I am very curious, but the thing is, I want to talk to my mom about it first. We have a very close and open relationship, and she says I can talk to her about anything. I'm just not sure about this. I'm scared that it will make her feel awkward (even though she's a nurse, so she likes talking about gross stuff). I already tried talking to one of my best friends about it, but she seemed pretty repulsed by the idea. Good for her for wanting to discover her body before getting involved with men. I think if more women did this they'd have better sex lives. She needs to talk to a cool aunt or older friend/cousin, mom is way too close to the situation and although they're close, she may not be ready to handle such a conversation.I hope I can be that cool aunt to my nieces.

Well, now that I think of it...The places where you would be able to buy a vibrator are probably 18 and over and I'm guessing she might not have a CC, so ordering online may be out of the question.  And if a package (har, har) arrived for her, that may garner questions from mom anyway.  Hmmm...I guess that would be a dilemma.  She could always do the Samantha from SATC thing and get a personal massager for that use.
