Wedding Woes

I called 911 this morning

and after about 25 freaking rings I was finally able to successfully report the car on fire that I passed on my way into work.  It was a nice Range Rover too...someone's day just got a whole hell of a lot worse (the engine was totally engulfed in smoke and there were flames on the pavement under the car).

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

Damn, that sucks. It's also scary it took them 25 rings to pick up for an EMERGENCY.

No kidding, the woman who answered seemed half asleep and totally unconcerned that I was calling in.

Holy crap. You might consider calling the non-emergency number to report how long the 911 response took.

agreed with 6. report that shizz.Reminds me of the time 911 put me ON HOLD.  I mean, I guess it was clear at that point that no one had an arterial bleed or anything, but the operator had also seriously  underestimated the potential danger of the situation I was reporting.
