What are the cheapest days to fly in your experience? Leaving mid week, Tue or Wed.I'm looking for flights to Dublin or Shannon for the end of June and they are so expensive.TYIA

I'm not Zilla, but the best days to travel are indeed Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. That said, it's been my experience that travel to Europe peaks in the summer and that you don't find deals. You have to go during an off-peak time which is usually winter.

If you use that Kayak.com that Wzz always recommends, it will show you the peak travel times and cheapest times for the range of dates you want.  That's been helpful to me.

I'm late on this, but thought that I might offer my two cents. I flew there (on a Tues or Wed) and it was much cheaper. If you can go in the fall or winter ( I know it's the complete opposite of June) you might save some money. My H and I went to Dublin (and drove around the country) in November once and got a crazy cheap deal on Aer Lingus. Good luck and have fun. I really loved this trip.
