i'm halfway through.  i had to put it down yesterday because i needed a break.  a breaaaaaak.i have had to re-read a lot of passages.  it turns out i rely heavily on punctuation and spelling for comprehension purposes, and i am struggling, yo!this is like first person "there are no children here" stuff.

I know. I had to re-read some parts too. It does get better, but I work with kids, so I can usually figure out what they're trying to say. Girl, didn't I say it was deep. I can't wait to see how Monique plays the mom.

I can't wait to see how Monique plays the mom. i do and do not want to see this.  i LOOOOVE monique -- i drove all the way to ballin' silver spring to see "phat girlz."  but mom scares me.  A LOT.

True dat. Mom made me gag, and I pray they don't go there in the movie.   Let's hope. I loved the girls in her class. Let me know what you thought of the ending.
