'Member yesterday's story about BIL and the gun situation?Yeah.  BIL didn't get birthday money.  Please to remember this is the same man who always gets himself into financial trouble and ended up taking birthday money early.This flips the whole situation.  I told H that BIL had no business buying this gun if it wasn't paid for or planned for both him and SIL.  It was crappy of BIL to lead H on and let him believe it was a paid for gun.And, NOW I remember why I really don't like him.  He's a big fat liar by omission.  It's his specialty.

    Their grandma gives them $1000 for bdays I think an $500 for christmas, or the other way around.What does she get their significant others?Nothing.  Just saying.

    YEP.  His Grandma is really generous with her grandchildren and her daughter (MIL).  She's done very well with saving and trusts and CDs so it's nice that she shares.

    No.  But she likes to control people with money.  Or at least that's what I think.It's still nice to get money though.
