I need a dress

for a Holiday party that is for networking purposes.  I will be going solo.  I haven't bought a party dress since my wedding in 2005.  Since then I've been birthin' babies.I'm tre nervous when I go shopping I'm going to look terrible.  Yes I've lost the weight but my belly is fairly bumpy and i've never worn a girdle so I don't know how that even works.*le sigh*

Get some Spanx.  They'll smooth you out w/out the lines that a girdle usually gives you.  They got up to your bra line and down to about your knees.  Pee hole included.

I keep hearing about Spanx.  I guess they can help me find the right size and then I can buy a dress while I'm wearing it.

I would do that.  B/c the Spanx fabric, I've noticed, sometimes grabs onto other fabrics.  Not badly, but I caught it on one of my dresses and it was annoying.Don't think of it as "trying to make me skinny".  It's just another way to improve the foundation that you're putting the dress on.

Well, you won't find it doing much for your legs.  but, if you wear tummy smoothing under or such, you'll get lines where they squeeze too much.  The spanx smooths all that out, so no lines to s how the control foundation.
