I was looking at my local shelter's website, I like to see what dogs they have and dream about getting one. I was looking at updates about a neglected dog and on the left hand of the page, they had a picture of another dog that was hanged. He died, the picture showed him hanging from a tree in the woods. I want to cry, why do they put that online?

Same reason they have those commercials with Sarah McLachlan. It tugs at your heart, gets your riled up, makes you want to do something.

Ugh.  That's just sick.Like those pictures on FB about using dogs as fishing bait.

I can't watch those commercials.  I get all emotional, search all over the house for the cat, and snuggle her while she looks at me like "WTF is wrong with you?"

The story alone was upsetting, I think the picture was too much. In the aspca commercials they dont show dead animals.
