Wedding Woes

Glee?

IDK.  This episode was a bit too over the top sweetness high school musical for me.At least we can always rely on Puck for some mischief (thank you, Mr. Shakespeare).  But really, no HIGH SCHOOL teacher picked up on the cupcakes?  I also didn't think the music was that great this time.  But I'm ready for the Madonna episode.

I really liked the arrangement they did for "Dancing With Myself"

Who knew Arty (Arnie?) had such a set of lungs on him! Also - the "I don't really have a stutter" was hap-hazard.

I loved Dance with Me and the bits with the dad.  This episode was just meh.  I do think Quinn looks much cuter without the cheerleader stuff.

The whole thing with Becky and Sue taking her on the squad because of, as we find out at the end,  the situation with her sister was a little too easy of an answer. Plus it was done on MASH years ago. I really want them to get Sue to sing. I love Jane Lynch. And now I have to watch Best In Show and A Mighty Wind.

I had many issues with this episode:-if they didn't have money for a bus, where did they get the money for the wheelchairs?-you do not get 2 bills and a final notice in the span of a week. That bill would have taken 6 months to go to collections. The timelines on this show are completely wacky. -the musical numbers were meh for me. I like dancing with myself, except that it was so awkwardly thrown in there.-faking a stutter? Really? And he broke up with her for it? That's just trying way too hard to create conflict.I did like the thing with Puck and the money. I think they're doing some interesting things with his character. Ditto Kurt and his dad. Sue having a sister with Downs Syndrome was predictable, but to me more forgivable than the mysterious free wheelchairs. Overall I want to love the show more than I do. I think in order for me to suspend disbelief for the singing and dancing and even for some of the more over the top storylines, they have to root a little more of it in reality.

The wheelchairs came from some old folks home.

I thought it was weird they could get wheelchairs from the old folks home, but not borrow a wheel chair friendly bus.I have to admit, I was also a little veklempt at the non-ADA compliant rules.  I don't think a school can build a new auditorium w/out having wheelchair accessible levels.  I realize it's a TV show, but that's just stretching.See, I don't really like the whole Kurt and his dad.  Yeah, it was cute, sweet, and funny, but I felt like really unrealistic and just syrupy sweet.    Honestly, if they wanted to play a gay stereotype that would've been interesting, Flynn should be gay.  I also agree with the whole timeline issues.  And HOW IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT IS HOLY can the ENTIRE damn school as well as her coach know that Quinn is pregnant and NOT her parents?

But Mr. Shue specifically mentioned that the home was having a sale of some sort, they weren't just donated. Andplusalso, the wheelchairs they got from the home were rickety, old, and mismatched styles. The wheelchairs they used in the final number were nice and new and all different colors.

That too V. I almost put that Quinn can't hide her pregnancy forever on my list, but I decided that it's probably pretty common for high school girls to try.

I'm willing to suspend belief on the money/pot/howintheheckdoabunchofhighschoolstudentswhoareallalsocheerleadersandfootballplayersgetthetimetorehearsesuchcomplexroutines things, but the writing in this last episode was all over the place.  Also, I missed an episode.  Someone catch me up on what happened with the wedding.
