I have had this pain in my leg for about 4 days now, and it's getting progressively worse. On Saturday/Sunday it was probably a 2 out of 10, yesterday and today it's gone up to a 6. It's not OMGI'MDYING painful but it is pretty much all I can think about. It actually originates in the middle of my butt cheek and radiates or travels down my leg. There's also sortof an end-point pain on the side of my calf, and sometimes another pain in my heel. Yesterday I sat on a heating pad almost all day. It's hard to walk up and down steps, and I limp when I walk. It sorta-kinda feels better when I stand with all my weight on my left leg, or when I lie down on my left side with my knee slightly bent. Bending forward is the most painful. I have not found a doctor out here yet, but if this keeps up for much longer it might force me to.

Sciatica! Hmonkey will love this, but you may want to see a chiropractor.

Sciatica is what I was worried about. My aunt had it and was in a wheel chair for awhile. She's a giant AW though, so maybe the wheelchair wasn't completely necessary.

yes, a chiropractor or any equivalent healer should fix you.  be sure to get one that aligns with your energies.maybe wait a fortnight for the moon to be in alignment.

My dad has sciatica. He doesn't do anything really. Sometimes it's bad after flying for long periods of time, and he just rests. Other times it doesn't bother him.

I had it while pg. It was wonderful to be carrying around a giant bowling ball AND not be able to stand. Just go see your doctor. Your real doctor.

I'd also watch out for any sort of spots.  My shingles symptoms weren't completely dissimilar.

I asked H last night if my butt looked swollen to him. He thought I was nuts. I am terrified of blood clots. I guess this means I have to figure out all our insurance stuff and get me a doctor.

I don't think it's likely, but blood clot was my worst-case-scenario concern, too.Butt cheek makes me think sciatica, though.Definitely find a doctor, preferably of the medical variety.
