I forgot my nephews birthday yesterday. He's 2, so it's not him I'm worried about; it's my sister. I'm sure she's offended. Gah! Sometimes I wish I was an Orphan. Is that bad?

My youngest sister didn't send me a birthday card, and the other claims she sent two, but I didn't get either one. You can be my sister. I have LOW expectations.

well, it's not like I can call the kid and he'd know who I was, or send him a birthday card because he CANT READ. I could've sent him a present, but he wouldn't know it was from me anyways. blargh! So many excuses I have!

Do you really think she'll be offended?  Call today and make up an excuse and send a little something in the mail. My brother called me 3 weeks after 6let's bday all upset he forgot.  Um, he's got 5 nieces and 2 nephews and was taking his emergency boards.  He got a pass.  The guilt check was awfully nice though.

I have 13 nieces and nephews. Do you think I remember all their birthdays? No. Hell, I don't KNOW any of their birthdays. Then again, I'm a pretty crappy aunt until you turn into a teenager and need advice.

well I always aknowledge the older neices and nephews (I have something like 10 of them). But this sister gets offended because she's the only one that lives far away and she feels disconnected from the rest of the family. I'm sending something at lunch
