I too was surprised at that. Is anyone else getting the feeling that he wants out too, but can't find a "good enough" reason after all this time to end it?

Is anyone else ridiculously pleased that the jackass won't be getting his 100 Blu Ray discs anytime in the near future?

I am guessing that given he doesn't pay any costs right now, he won't be as ready to leave as Stephi would hope.I think staying a night away then getting in there and dumping his stuff on the lawn and changing the locks is likely the best way to handle it.

Like I said below, there's going to be a lot of temptation and pressure over the next few weeks for her to take him back. I'm betting that the majority of that is going to come from him realizing he doesn't want to give up his free ride or his Blu-Rays.Stephi, you can come back to us any time you need extra strength. We will tell you like it is.

He is... I guess I'm giving him tonight and tomorrow while I'm at work to move out. That and crying time with mommy (I'm such a momma's baby).

and if he's not gone when you get home from work tomorrow, I hope you finish his move out for him. And change the locks. And jojo has free puppies if you need a guard dog.

Me too Stephi. Also - I highly suggest you drive to Cali and pick up a puppy.

Awe puppy... I've got one puppy. I'll probably get my little man a girlfriend in a few months. : ) And hey at least I already have weekend plans... New moon right?!
  • edited December 2011
New Moon with friends! I'd be calling people up for emotional support left and right if I were you. Then again after 7 years all your friends may be intertwined. In which case I'd be on meetup.com making new friends.
  • edited December 2011
No they're not intertwined... he doesn't have any friends other than the guys he works with.

Well there you go. When I left my ex all his "friends" were calling me thanking God I had finally broken up with him, and now they wouldn't have to invite us both out, just me. I got all the friends, he got his just deserts, aka his bitter buddies to pal around and pick up strippers with.

Yuck. The biggest thing I'll miss is his parents. Now he's all "come home, let's make up and lay in bed and talk".No thanks.

He's testing you. Trying to see if he can call your bluff. This is why you have been off and on so many times. You are the only person that can get yourself off this rollercoaster. Personally, I'd pack his shyt for him and call the locksmith. I don't care if they charge extra after hours.

I think you should take the night and try and figure out what it is you want.  I'll yell bloody murder if you go back, but if you go back with a list of "this is what I want, this is what I require, this is how I want to be treated and what I want our relationship to be", I think you'll see that he's not fulfilling any of those requirements.

This may blow, but the alternative is living with him in a house built of BluRay cases after your financial life is in ruins.
