Why am I so sleepy?

I'm in StL for work this week.  Yesterday I was up much earlier than usual to make the drive, so a little sleepy was understandable, but I was rolling down the windows and singing to keep myself awake even after TWO large coffees from McDonalds. I dragged through the day. Last night I got to bed at a reasonable hour and slept a full night.

This morning I am still so freaking tired.  I've had three cups of coffee.  I'm not naturally a morning person, but I'm also not usually blurry eyed and droopy like this.  It's really annoying because I have a lot of work to do.

I'm also achy and stiff which makes me think my body is fighting something off.  That, or Lupus.

  • Eat something with some protein in it.  That will help your energy level and keep your blood sugar even so you don't crash.

  • I had pretty much pure protein for breakfast with just that thought.  Eggs and yogurt.  Yesterday morning was also relatively low carb.

Well then, it's time turn to meth.
  • I have always thought that I have too many teeth...

    A full set is overrated.
  • Weather?

  • Time change could be fcking with you, too. Add in the maybe-sickness and the travel (long drive, weird hotel bed, whatever), and you  might have the perfect storm of tired.
