Big wedding on a budget

My FI comes from a VERY large close knit family so we are looking at a pretty large guest list. We are getting married in March which rules out a outdoor wedding. Anyone know of any reasonably priced venues in western WA that can accommodate 250?

Pioneer Park Pavillion in Puyallup would fit that many at a reasonable rate but doesn't have a great seperation between indoor spaces for ceremony/reception.  Lord Hill Farms in Snohomish has good off season rates and would fit 250 I think.  That might be your best bet. We almost booked there for this March.  The only other one I can think of would be maybe the comcast arena ballroom in Everett.  My photog just shot a wedding there and it looked pretty big and sounds like it might have been affordable.

    Good luck!

Since it's off-season for Seattle you might still have luck at some of the more typically expensive venues around here.  Mind sharing what your venue + food budget is for that many people?

We are having a afternoon ceremony and only doing apps so we are hoping to keep it at or under 8k

8k for just venue and food? or 8k for whole wedding? If that's for venue and food and you are only doing apps, you can probably find a TON of places. That is a pretty large amount, especially with only apps.

We have that many people and are having our reception at Hall at Fauntleroy.  You might be able to do some negotiations in price, since it's offseason.

We just found a place that is waiving the room rental so we're just going to have to pay for the catering and the bar. 8k is for the food and venue.
