Varuna- Still Alice book recommendation

Thanks for recommending this book, I got it friday and read it this weekend.  I recommend this book to everyone, it had lots of info about Alzheimer's but it was also a good novel.  I really like the writing style, it was interesting to read it in the mind of the patient, not the family. I want to read more of her books now.

I'm glad you liked it.

I wanted to murder her husband, even while completely understanding where he was coming from.  I somewhat broke down while reading this book.  Just so many parts resonated with me and what I've observed in my great-grandmother.  The entire rug scene just broke my heart.

Yes the husband was a idiot, but I could tell where it was going with the new job.  I know its hard, but its for better or worse when you take your vows.

I really could see his denial in action.  LIke, it was going to be totally fine, they could make this work.  And everyone else yelling at him that it wasn't going to work, stop being an idiot.
