Wedding Woes

I am a hoarder.

Last night I was trying to clean out my craft room and my plan was to get rid of 90%. I couldn't do it. I started to get anxiety, started crying, kept moving things from the go pile into the stay pile. In the end, most of it is in my stay pile.

I has a problem. If you hear of a tiny apartment in San Jose that has a caved in floor...it's probably mine.

    90%? That seems excessive.

    So does crying, though.

Also, the knut said this post had 27 replies. I thought I was going to see a lot more exciting stuff in here. :)

Why in the world would you get rid of crafting supplies?  Get rid of extra dishes, furniture, clothes, etc.  Keep it!  Keep it allllllll!

I think the crying is mostly stress, but I am sad I'm losing my space. And, I'm taking almost all of it with me except for my Cricut and some larger craft tools. I'm also keeping my sewing machine and all of my sewing stuff, but I wont be taking it with me.

haha, we're keeping four peices of furniture: 2 couches, dining table and bed. Everything else is going (or gone already!)
Our new apartment is 600 square feet...and nearly double the cost of my mortgage. This is insane.

Wait, you're not taking your cricut, or did I read that wrong? If you want a nearby craftroom in which to store your stuff and play, bring it to me. I have the space, and crafting is always more fun with other people.

Also, I kindof want your treadle sewing machine if you're still planning to sell it.

nope, selling the cricut. I already sold my Gypsy and all of the cartridges. It was a passing fancy-I haven't touched it since Card Cupids was over.
I'm still selling the treadle. Make me an offer! We can bring it with us when we move on the fourth.  (ETA: sorry I didn't respond to you about it the other day, I thought you were joking!)

I might take you up on the craft room offer! Then I would have an excuse to come over and craft with you!

HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT FOR THE CRICUT AND THE REST OF THE CRAFTING TOOLS?  I AM JUST ASKING.  PLEASE INCLUDE S&H IN YOUR ESTIMATE.

lol, hmo, cross country shipping would cost more than the machine itself. I paid $160 for it on ebay with free shipping and two cartridges.
Also, are you making fun of me? Stop it.

random stuff: a coluzzle and a bunch of stencils, sizzix texture boutique (although I keep pulling it out of the pile and trying to keep it.), 8 or 10 texture folders, martha steward scoreboard, a couple of glue guns, Xron x, my craft desk, all of my crochet stuff (although I think the girl that's moving in wants it all), 2 DCVW paper stacks. That's all I can think of off of the top of my head.
eta: oh yeah, and a mini singer serger that I never learned to use.

Ack, I don't even know what they go for. Ebay has them for everywhere from $37 to $400. Is it restored? Does it sew?

You can probably sell the cricut for the same price you got it, so that's cool. Hmo, I thought I talked you into the silhouette. It's mac compatible.

It's not restored, but it's in great original shape. It is missing one drawer knob on the bottom left. I don't *think* it sews, but I've never tried either. It does come with the little box with all of the tools in it, and the sewing machine inside is gorgeous. I can text you pictures tonight. I believe the year stamp on it was 1909.I was going to mark it $150 at my moving sale.
