Wake up!!!!

Every board I visit is dead.  I'm mad at DH and want to do nothing.  6let is watching tv.

YOU LET YOUR BABY WATCH TV?!  You're a terrible mother.  Tongue out

Why are you mad at DH?

If that's the worst thing I do he's golden.  Usually it's just jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, but this morning is Blue's Clues.

I am giggling at the thought of 6let watching Wheel of Fortune.

It's not much, but until things get started, we can trade bad mommy confessions.  I let DD eat things made with whole eggs and/or almond milk.  Almond milk waffles are her favorite.

(Fortunately, we are slowwwwwly easing into dairy for her, in the hopes that she's outgrown her allergy.  She seems to be doing well with yogurt, we'll see how yesterday's goldfish crackers affect her.)

Do goldfish have actual dairy?  I read they are backtracking on the allergy/waiting thing now.  Who knows what's right anymore?  I just try to do what's best for us.  Naps on the living room floor, fig newtons for breakfast.  Whatever.  For bigger things I ask my sister.  Her kids are happy and healthy and have made it safely to 8.

He loves the colors and clapping on WoF.  He also loves Flo from Progressi\ve and the bongs on Law & Order.

Supposedly (going by the label), they contain real cheddar cheese.  I'm hoping it's not enough to trigger anything.  She does really well on Yo Baby, which I would think has a ton more actual milk protein.  She went crazy for those goldfish, so I hope she can keep eating them.

How old is 6let now?  How cute is it that he loves Flo and L&O?

He's pushing 19 months and FULL of personality.

A tip on yogurt- I buy my fruit and blend it up and freeze in ice cube trays.  I mix it in with Danon plain yogurt and either some crushed cheerios or baby oatmeal to thicken.  6let loves it, I know exactly what's in it, it's cheaper and I can get different flavors.  I also add some pureed squash sometimes.

A side benefit, you can put the cube in frozen and keep the yogurt cold when you go someplace.

That's a good idea, I'll have to remember that!  Thanks.
