Need Tiny Wedding Venue

Hi everyone,

I am looking on advise for a small wedding venue for a wedding this December.  My fiance and I decided that due to our intense school schedules we just want to have a really small imediate family ceremony this winter.  So we are looking for a venue that is indoor, and won't be too big for 10 people.  I don't care whether we get married in Seattle we are open to the surrounding area as well.  So if you know of any really pretty B&Bs or anyother nice venues for a small winter wedding, please letme know!

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me.

What style wedding are you looking for?

Do you currently belong to a Church? If so I would think you could do a really nice ceremony there and then go to a restaurant for the reception.

Something a little different is shotgun ceremonies

    More Vegas style.

My friend just got married in Pittsburgh, but due to some problems with the marriage license process there, got legally married here beforehand.

There were probably about 10 of us there, and it was at the Fairmont downtown, and absolutely lovely.

I believe the 4 Seasons also has some great rooms for small groups.

Also, Hotel Andra of the Thomas Douglas chain.

I'm getting married at Januik winery, and they also have some smaller, intimate rooms.

Another option is getting married at a location, then having the "reception" in a nice restaurant.

There is a restaurant here with three seperate private rooms that are BEAUTIFUL and rustic looking.. I don't think they charge for usage as long as you use their food. We are using it for our RD because it's so romantic and lovely inside..

It's definitely a trip out of Seattle, but it would be perfect for a 10 person wedding that would be very low cost, and romantic.. plus the food is incredible :o)

Thanks everyone, these are great suggestions.  I am not a church member and I do not want to get married in a court house (I'm a law student it would just be wierd).

You might want to consider Preservation Kitchen in Bothell ( http://preservationkitchen.com/dining.html ).  A Knottie in 2010 had her wedding and reception there.  I've been to brunch and dinner at the restaurant, and I love the food.  The venue is small with a rustic look.

To add to Mgoss's post:  We went to try the food at Preservation Kitchen the other day, because we are considering it for our RD, and weren't impressed. We are trying again tomorrow for dinner, because last time we went for lunch, but I would definitely reccomend trying them before deciding...

We're looking at the Cellar in BAllard, for our 11.11.11 nuptials.

We're having 25-30 guests, but I think it might be perfect for a group your size, too!
    Good luck!

So we settled on the Alderbrook Resort in Union (kind of near Olympia).  We are getting married on 12/29/2011.

Thanks for all your help everyone!
