It's officially a homicide investigation.  They have two people in police custody, one of them being the boyfriend of the home owner.  Gas was intetionally released into the house.

    I wonder if they have any clue how big of an explosion this would be. In Fight Club it only blows up the one apartment, I think.

    Yeah, I don't think they planned on it damaging 81 homes in a neighborhood that has around 150 homes total.

    Once the criminal case is settled, can you imagine the lawsuits?  The homeowners are going to be in court for years. 

    Beyond the people who died, were injured, lost their homes, or had their homes damaged, I also feel sorry for the 12 year old daughter of the home owners.
