So my boyfriend and I have been talking about getting married for a few months, we both see it happening. HOWEVER, I have a feeling we will be disagreeing on the guest list.
He has this friend, well they actually dated 4 years ago, and he told me before we were even dating that she was his first love, the one "that got away". So obviously from that point, I've never had a good feeling about this girl. Even though he swears they are just friends now, which I do believe.
To not make this story too long, she had said some pretty harsh things about me via facebook. Keep in mind, she has never, ever met me! She's 21, I believe, too.. not 14 like you would THINK. My boyfriend agrees that she should have never said anything about me, because its ridiculous! But he remains friends with her. I could never be friends with someone who wanted to insult my boyfriend VIA facebook!!
Needless to say I do NOT want her attending our wedding. Why would I want ANYONE there who has insulted me?! I need advice on how to handle this situation. I do not want her there. And I don't want him arguing with me over her. Should this be a deal breaker? This stresses me out way more than it should. Please help
