*My quadruplet cousins are 20 today.  I remember when they were teeny-tiny babies.  Now their grown people.  They're all super smart and either in college or doing their missionary work (my aunt and uncle converted to Mormonism when the kids were super young).

*DefConn has started giving open mouth kisses.  Last night I'd say, "I want a kiss!" and make a kissy sound at him and he'd lean in with his mouth open.  It was hysterical and slobbery.

*DH and I have ear-marked spring 2013 for when we are going to put our house on the market and start looking for a new one.  This gives us about a year to get our house ready to sell. 

*In the 'sell our house' vein.  Our first project is the master bathroom.  We're starting this month.  I can't wait.  We're going to take down the mirror and paint and get a new mirror and a cabinet.  Plus new linens, shower curtain, rug, etc.  Next we're going to assess if we're going to do new flooring in our kitchen, living room, foyer. And we need to start pricing storage units.

*I just shipped my BFF's xmas gift.  I hate that it's late, but they have been OOT and I didn't want it returned b/c they didn't collect it.

*Today is my Friday.

*I'm dog sitting this week.  Getting up extra early on my kid-free mornings is a pita.  She takes forever to poop.  Plus, it's getting chilly.  52 this morning.  

*A kid in DD's class had ring worm.  Now 3 other kids have it.  The teacher still has not notified anyone.  I heard this from the food director last night.  I.AM.PISSED.  Again, if I get this btch fired this year, it will be a good year.

*I'm getting sick.  Grumble, grumble, grumble.  I can pick up my antibiotics tonight.

*Barbie - where should I request to eat in Houston for dinner?

*I made spice cake last night.  The house still smells like it.  Mmmmm.

*I bought the most amazing bras at Kohl's last week.  I'm going back this weekend to buy more.  My boobs have never been so happy.

Today is my Friday as well.  Yay for another long weekend and we have no plans.  I think NYE is going to be spent snuggled up watching movies, just the 4 of us.

nico - LOL@ 52 degrees is cold.     Also, IIRC, ringworm isn't that big of a deal.  I had it a few years ago and by the time I figured out what it was (my mom has Psoriasis, so I thought that's what it was) it was just about gone.   And it's not really a worm.
Which bra is it?   I'm loving the "this isn't a bra" bra or something like that.

I need new bras like nothing else. I realized that I have tomorrow off, but daycare lady does not have off. Momma has a free day! I still have not mailed MIL's gift. Oh well. I love kisses from The Boy. Few and far between, but excellent when I get them. My mom got my kid a pair of Tom's and I want a pair now.

AF, I know.  I had it as a kid once.  This just typical for DD's teacher.  When hand-foot-mouth was going around, we didn't know until 1/2 her class was out sick.  Same goes for pink eye.  I just hate that worthless btch.

Today is supposed to be my Friday.  I have a feeling it won't be and I'll get hoodwinked into doing work on my PTO

In that same spirit, this is also the time for me to apply to membership for a few professional associations I wanted to join while being reimbursed by my employer.

DD does kisses, but right now she's practicing her hugs...soo sweet!  She also does this head-butt thing which we had figured out to be an affection thing.  To me, DH, cats, etc.  A friend mentioned when she came over that cats do the same thing as an affectionate greeting.  Hmmmm

We've got way too much house crap to take care of

We've been invited over to a NYE party, I had to ask DH to ask whether DD was invited too or not.  I kinda hope not so we cna find a babysitter or flat-out not go.  I'm not exactly stoked at the idea of trying to feed a little crankybot during a nice sit-down meal that's now starting to get picky about what she eats.

i am going to be spending the day trying to buy stuff without a prescription to use up all my fsa monies. 

i was pissed at the daycare director when she did not tell me that baby mo's main caretaker had been let go.  i really liked her, and i would have liked to have known.  it was better than wondering who that stranger was holding my child.

dh and i have given up on this week's budget and are eating out lunches every day.  yay!

Daycare is tough, yo. Half of the staff at ours is incredibly steady, with people staying for years. The other half is a revolving door, and you never know a teacher is gone until you realize you haven't seen her in a while. If it weren't for the steady half, we'd be outta there.

We also have a "free" day tomorrow. I should probably do some work, but I am hoping H will at least agree to see a movie together or something. If I put out, he will likely consider it a fair trade.

Ringworm, ugh. I know it's NBD, but SIL's youngest had a nasty patch of it at Xmas. I was thinking all "my kid had better NOT get ringworm." 


..... and daycare just called. Dex is vomiting.  So I take back that part about a "free" day tomorrow, since we will now have a kid (hopefully recovered) on our hands.

I'm ready to bleach the whole damn house with all of the sickness going on here. Serious sickness. Gah.

I can't decide if I'm going to take DefConn to the sitter tomorrow or not.  I'll have the kiddo, but it's definitely easier to do running around with only the kiddo and not DefConn.  I may drop him off for a few hours.  He adores his sitter and she loves him, so she'll tell me to bring him.

- I need new bras. Badly. I especially need a new sports bra. It sucks having big boobs, yo.

- My new laptop is being delivered today, and not a second too soon. My current laptop died as I was typing this, and it likes to die at random times.

- Also: If we miss the UPS guy, I'll be PISSED. The closest UPS distribution center is nowhere near here, and I don't feel like driving all the way over to get to it.

- We might actually be going out for NYE. This makes me both excited and panicked. I'm getting my hair cut today and doing my nails tomorrow, maybe some shopping, too.
