2 Craptastical Things

1. FIL still has not seen Mr. Squeakers. FIL lives about 15-20 minutes from us, and has no job. He's basically a POS, and I know this, but it's your freaking grandchild. He's called DH a few times asking if he can come see the baby but it's been really bad timing (and not because I hate him and don't want him around). Also, a few days after he was born, it was one of DH's little bros birthday. They were going to go paintbaling for a few hours. They never called DH to let him know when they were going, etc. DH called and never head back from them.

2. I got nothing for Mother's Day. DH is buying me a sewing machine but he still hasn't ordered it. No card, nothing. I was pissed. And I let him know it.

#1 - This is byond anyone's control. You should probably try to get over FIL. As in, not have any expectations of him so WHEN (and not if, when) he doesn't act right you don't get upset. Mr. Squeakers shouldn't be brough up to expect anything of this man, either. IMO.

#2 - JUNK PUNCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1.  I'm of the opinion that the less Mr. Squeakers has to be subjected to a douchebag, the better.  It's not like he's a "good guy" and from the stories you've told, I can't imagine him being even remotely clost to a good grandfather to him.  Having said that, I'm sorry this has upset you.

2.  Boo, Mr. Pmeg.  Step it up, buddy.
