i almost forgot

Since most of you helped with the birthday invitations. I thought I would show you all the final project.

the ballon says "to discover what day and time please blow up the balloon. caution message may self destruct" LOL I love that part.

Also since I am already here posting about my NWR daughters birthday I wanted to ask if any of you have good ideas for decorations or games for a circus/ carnival theme birthday. Thank you ladies and gent :)

Nice job! Looks great & thank you for sharing the final product! As for ideas: animals of course! :) I would also say clowns, but some people/kids can be scared of them.

Actually I found a woman yeterday that will charge $25h for balloon animals. She doesnt dress up though :( But compared to clowns its a great price. I figured one hour would be enough too. I was think of go buying a bunch of circus stuffed animals from goodwill and setiing them up somehow. We have a popcorn machine and I am planning on making a can throwing game. I thouht it would be super cute to play a game and win a goldfish. I would love to do real but I doubt parents would be very happy about that. Can anyone think of how I can do a goldfish favor somehow?

    LOVE how those turned out!
What about just little cute packages of goldfish crackers? Most kids love those. You could just package them up in the little cellophane bags.

Other games that come to find are the ones we had at my elementary school carnival when I was a kid. There's the fishing one where the kids drop a line over a wall and someone on the other side hooks it with a little candy or trinket. You could also do a spin-the-wheel thing and give away the stuffed animals so you're not stuck with them afterwards.

I wouldn't worry about the lady not dressing up. Do you know of anyone who's good at face painting? That might be another fun thing to have!

Please oh please don't do live goldfish - we were just talking about that on the a party blog (<--linky) recently. I did find these though, and i thought they'd be a good alternative....

ETA: in my rush to find goldfish (gold rush...hahahahaha), I forgot to say that the balloon idea is awesome! I wish I would have thought of that!

Brave made a point - I missed the live goldfish part, for some reason I thought it was going to be goldfish crackers! Sorry! I wanted to have live betta/siamese fighting fish in our CPs but opted to not after reading about it. I do like Brave's link with the soaps though!
