Wedding Woes

Randommmm

So.  As you may know (or don't give a flying fig about), I love YouTube, and I subscribe to many YT channels.  One beauty channel (which I originally typed "beanuty") talked about Dermaplaning and how it improves the appearance of your skin because it's an entry-level DIY kind of exfoliation.

I ventured into Sally Beauty Supply and bought me some "face hair razors".  Uh...yep.  I shaved my face.  The entire thing.  But before you get concerned, I still my brows.  Kept those.  I don't go for the Whoopi look.

And what do you know....my face is sooooo smooth.  And makeup wears so much better. And AND my hair won't grow back any differently, but it will keep my skin smooth.

*shameful secretssss*

  • Wellllll, at an actual dermatologists office they use a scalpel and go to town...removing the hair and only a slight bit of dry skin.

Being that what I bought is like the "safety" version and super cheap...fromm 3 razors for $4.99, it obviously isn't as invasive or easy to screw up.

what happens when it grows in? won't it seem a little rough because the hairs are now blunt?

i can imagine how smooth your skin is, though. i would be too nervous about the regrowth.
  • I don't believe so wz, I read and researched it a bit.  And it's hair that is so fine that it grows back and isn't any rougher from beginning to end.  Even the derms said that. So I was all "I will do this!", and I guess we shall see.

If I end up like this:

I'm confused about upkeep. Is this something you will need to do daily?

    This.
Like someone said, won't it feel stubly when it grows in because of the blunted hair ends?
