hits a parked car and doesn't bother to leave a note?

this is the 2nd time that this car has been hit in a parking lot. it was also rear-ended when i was stopped waiting to merge onto traffic on a highway service road. I've owned the car for less than 14 months. 

people need to DIAF.

Ummm, assholes without insurance?

This happened to me twice in my parking lot at work.  So I happen to know that the offenders have jobs and some sort of means to pay for insurance and/or my damages.  But it is just easier to drive away and be an asshole.

this was my (gated) lot at work. both times. i need to start walking around and inspecting cars to see who has blue paint on their front passenger bumper.

I'll just say maybe they didn't know?  I honest to goodness still don't know how I didn't feel hitting that woman last week.  I don't even have her paint or any scratches on my car.

i do agree with looking around to see who has a blue scrape. i don't think that is an overreaction. the overreaction would be setting the car with the blue scrape on fire.

cameras at the entrance (gates), but not on each level - it''s a 6 story parking garage 

ETA: I asked the security guard the last time that this happened, and again today. :-( no help.

Someone hit my car in a parking lot a while back, and it was literally smashed in. I had to get a new bumper and tail light area and shell out my $500 deductible. GRRR.
