I am going to be taking FIs last name after the wedding, but a random question just came to mind for the ladies that are keeping their maiden names...

Once you are married, what will your new title be? Ms. or Mrs.?

I honestly don't care either way. If people address me socially as Ms. Amanda MaidenName, Mrs. Amanda MaidenName or Mrs. Fiances Name, I don't really care. Legally I will still have my maiden name.

I would like to switch to Mrs. right away in social circumstances, but on legal documents I will put Ms. until my name is officially changed.

I didn't know anybody didn't become a "Mrs." when they were married...

but then again - I never ID myself as a Ms a Miss or Mrs..soo..
