Wedding Woes

BEWARE: K and C Photography. Paid $3000 and NEVER received wedding photos!

This is not a joke...I paid $3000 to K and C Photography in Houston, TX (though it's rumored she's based out of Austin now) and never received my wedding pictures. I was married in 2007. She never would answer my calls or return emails after the wedding. And she's still in business!!! You can imagine how devastating this is! I hired a lawyer and to no avail. Brides-to-be take the time to research the people you are hiring on the BBB. One look and there's no doubt I wouldn't have hired this monster!

Not sure about TX law, but in MN you could at least get a judgement against these idiots in small claims court. Not that a judgement would get you your photos-or even your money back but you could at least mess up the credit score of the business, which is something most businesses seriously depend on.

<div>You should post this on the TX boards. I've never even been to TX, much less would I be affected by this. </div><div>
</div><div>Good luck, and follow PP's advice. File with the courts. </div>

I'm moving to TX, but already married, so this has no impact on me.

File in small claims court, although your window to do so may have lapsed - i mean, you did get married 3 years ago.

Thanks for all the advise everyone! Much appreciated...and I didn't post on my local state's board (didn't see it before I post on this one and I'm not as familar with The Knot as I use to be) I went by their office a few times, but they don't work out of it and weren't there.
