Old Lady Club, don't you know...
So the new president didn't show to her first two meetings, no phone call, no e-mail, nothing to explain. The number I had for her was bad so I called her today at work. Again, she didn't apologize. I came at it from a point of concern and asked her if she was okay (because it would really suck if I was all "WTF!" and she was all "my mom died"). She said "yeah, some ups and downs but mostly okay." I didn't have the nerve to say much of anything else. If she doesn't show up after this I'm done with her.
But I'm really starting to think that she is an alcholic or a drug addict. The only other people I have known who acted this way (just constantly not showing, vague on everything) turned out to fall into that category. At least I'm going to tell myself this because the thought that she is just this irresponsible makes me too angry.
I just a friendly gal looking for options.
