Need to vent! Please Help!

in Wedding Woes
My wedding is in 11 days and I keep calling the place where I got my dress and they keep saying they dont know where it is.  So... I call alterations and they say they returned it to the store.  I was told to pick it up 2 days before the wedding but I'd feel a lot more relaxed if I had it with me plus if i doesn't fit, I allow myself some breathing room to get it fixed.  I feel as if they are holding the dress just so I dont mess up their schedule and telling me it isn't there! I want it here and it is my biggest stress right now!!!!!! I am just needing some advice please help!!!

    Go to the store and demand to try it on/take it home.

    The trouble is no one "seems" to have it.... the alterations lady said she gave it back, the store owner said she never got it back!!!!! Those were the only two people who had it so apparently it's in limbo... told them if i dont have it by thurs.... im getting my money back

    Why are you waiting until Thursday?  What the hell?    Go get your dress or your money, then go find something off the rack and QUICK.  WHy are you not in more of a panic than this???   Are you waiting for the baby to kick before you take a pregnancy test?????

    I'd s#!t or get off the pot on this one, love.
    You better go to the store and give a good what's what and then demand immediate action. If it were me I'd demand they do everything they can do RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! So I know I either walk out withh my dress or walk out to go get one!

    The other girls are right! If a GOOD, I'll use that term lightly. A good sales associate wants to please their customer and want to keep your bussiness, they will do WHATEVER is needed to be done. If not, then go in there and give them hell and tell them that you paid for the dress and expected it back AS SOON as it was done. You've already spoken to the alterations woman and YOU KNOW that they have the dress. So either hand it over or get your money back then you'll have to find a new dress immediately! After the wedding is over, I would try to contact someone higher up up in the chain of the company. 

    Them holding your dress and being prudes about it, is a big bunch of BS!
