    Rant:
Here I am, seven and a halfish months into my engagement. FI and I finally lower our budget, out of necessity. We hadn't planned on me having permanent restrictions from an injury on the job, which I can't and haven't gone back to; resulting in less income than predicted. After struggling to even come up with a deposit for the cheapest-but-still-nice venue we had chosen, we're finally calling it quits to that certain wedding vision. No, we can't afford that awesome caterer. No, we can't afford this beautiful venue location.
We're doing a lot of compromising now.
We've settled on having our wedding at my mom's place. This changes the "theme" and vision quite a bit. Mostly rustic, no more modern streamlined architecture. This also changes when we can have the wedding. It will be all outside/in a tent. That means it can't be during the 9 months of rainy season because of mud. We've had our first disagreement about wedding planning because of this part- he wants it in August, I don't.
I'm not ranting because I'm disappointed or unhappy with our new situation. I'm ranting because I wish we'd known this from the beginning, instead of having over seven months of dreaming up and planning a different wedding that will never come to be.
And we've got no one to blame but ourselves for not changing our plans sooner.

    Rave:
Going to try on dresses for the first time. I've been putting it off until I lost a little more weight, and I have! I'm just excited to see what types of dresses will look good on me.

Rant:  I'm majorly crushing on a bazillion things on ModCloth right now, but I really don't need to spending more money... such a tease you are, ModCloth.

Rave:  I have a busy, but super fun, weekend planned!  Tonight:  Sangria Party for a friend's 30th B-Day.  Saturday:  Bottling beer with the ol' DH, YUM IPA!!!  Then watching the FWB movie with one of my MOHs and one of my BMs.  Sunday:  Seafair <3

DH and I are going to take a bus, and then the link rail, and then a shuttle.  Parking around Seafair is a PITA.... we won't even bother!

RANT: Work is slow, and Jillian Michaels is kicking my butt in workouts

RAVE: It's friday and b/c of Jilliam Michaels I am losing weight.

I stay away from Seattle for events like seafair. It is not worth the hassel to me, but I have irrational amounts of anger. So that may be the reason. lol

yea mgoss we did that too. definitely the way to go! made it very stressfree :]
Since this is Fi's only summer in Washington, I wanted to do all those little things like watch the hydroplane races. It was fun. Not something I would do every year, but definitely once.
