Things that irk me

-People who feel the need to have a loud ass pau wau right outside my door. Can you take it to your office? And don't give me the ill face when I get up and close my door. You're disturbing me.

-People who walk into my office and start talking to me when I'm consulting with someone at my desk. This person was here before you, realize it and GTFO.

-People who see me on the phone and still come in and start talking to me.

These have all happened to me since 9 this morning.

Everyone here does this.  Maybe 4-5 times a day.  And if I continue my phone conversation, they hang themselves over my half wall and peer onto my desk.  They wonder why I'm so terse when I hang up and say, "Did you need something or do you like being rude?"

This right here. It kills me. I could be talking about something I don't want you to hear about! Go away until I'm done. I'm here from 9-6, trust that I'll have a few seconds of my day where no one is in here and I can focus on you.

There are no boundaries here. They want to have open door policies and be a 'family'. My mother had a rule of being seen and not heard when she was with company or on the phone and you didn't bother her unless blood and/or unconsciousness were involved.

 i had a co-worker who did this.  i used to call her "pearl", after the lady in 227 who hung out on her window and listened in on whatever mary and rose were walking about.

I have a pocket door to my office, so people knock on it and it rattles like a mofo. Then they push it open quickly so that I'm completely startled.

WHAT DO YOU WANT?! AND GET TO THE POINT!!!!!
