I was just attempting to set up my profile so that I can "follow" blogs.  I clearly have the "show my full name" box unchecked.  My display name is just my first name.  But when I look at the list of followers on a blog I am following and hover over my picture, I see my full name.  I'm checking this on a computer on which I am not signed into google or blogger.  Any thoughts?

ok...I think remember how I fixed mine, when you click the "follow" box, it should pop up a window that gives you the option to follow privately or publicly.  In that window is a box where you can type in the name you want to show up in the followers list.  You will have to unfollow and refollow all blogs to fix it.
