i'm soooo mad! so I'm venting. But I think thats what this board is for.
I tried on and ordered a beautiful dress in October 2010. October. I'm getting married in late June. Let's say I was jumping the gun... trying to get my ducks in a row.
The dress did not arrive until May 20!!!!! The company lost track of it. And when it did arrive, finally - it was three inches too short! The design of the dress does not allow for altering the hem - which is why it was custom ordered - I custom ordered a dress and they screwed it up and it was late. I am SO mad.
So now it's too late to order anything else, the bridal shop is "generously" offering me 10% off the sample that they've had forever (and they will get another sample since they can keep my short one). That's basically my only option unless I get REALLY lucky and find a dress off the rack that fits perfectly. But even then, doesn't sound like the bridal salon is going to refund my money.
How do I politely but firmly tell them that their offer is insulting and they should give better customer service than that?
