WooHoo Honeymoon Booked!

Yay we booked our honeymoon today, seven nights in Maui here we come. We had picked everything out a few weeks ago, but were waiting for FI to find out about his new job before we finalized the dates and put down the deposit. I am so glad that it is all done because I was stressing about booking while airfare was cheap and the condo we wanted was available. Happy Check!

The honeymoon has to be one of the best checks!  Good job!  Thinking about the honeymoon is what's keeping me sane throughout all of this!

Neither of us have ever been to Maui. Any recomendations on where to eat or must do activities?

We are staying in Kannapali, we already booked the Old Lahina Luau for one night, and I think we are also doing a day cruise over to Lanai to snorkel with dolphins. That's everything we have planned so far.

I love Kihei Cafe and Lulu's for casual dining (but they're  in Kihei).  The road to Hana is long, but can be fun - and stopping off at the Angel Falls is a must because it's so beautiful.......Haleakala at sunrise is a MUST!!  But it's freaking FREEZING!  Big Beach and Little Beach are great....but seriously - you'll have so much fun just being over there - it'll be great!

We're going to Maui for our HM, too! Neither of us have ever been there so I have no recs, but I'll have some for you in June when we get back. :)

Woo hoo.  I agree w/ Kaye, you don't really need to plan much, you'll just enjoy being there, chillin' out.  The road to Hana is long, but worth it.  The first time I went, you could swim in all the pools and caves and it was the coolest thing I ever did.  The second time the water was too rough and you couldn't get in, but it was still pretty to look at.

be sure to go to the Lavendar farm (i can't remember off the top of my head what its called ) it has the most AMAZING view and has a little botanical garden where u can see a lot of native Hawaiian plants.  its free, unless u want to take a tour, and they have a great giftshop. hands down was my favorite activitiy.  Haleakala is also beautiful at night for the star gazing if you don't want to wake up that early.  Its COLD so bring a jacket/blanket.
