We did have a nice time talking to DH's 19 year old cousin. He opened up to us about leaving school and how it wasn't for him. He's got his CDL's and he also is being certified to work on Stihl equipment at his job. He's got benefits and started his 401k. He seems to be a good path and he is a good kid.
Everyone thought DefConn was cute, of course. But DH's family wasn't really into holding him as much. My family is definitely a 'pass the baby' kind of family. It was nice to be able to have him pretty much to myself.
And all these 'tough' guys that were there were drinking Michelob Ultra. NO ONE looks tough drinking Mich Ultra. NO ONE.
