Wedding Woes

Glasses.

I ordered some new glasses from eyefly.com. Living Social was running a $49 special. We shall see how they look. I only wear them around the house so there doesn't have to be love attached to them, but like would be nice.

Anybody used this site before.

Re: Glasses.

  • I have not used the site before. I need new glasses though, so let me know how it goes.

  • I liked that it lets you upload a photo and try them on your face before you order.

    DG, that's a nice feature.:)

  • I might just have new lenses put in the frames I have. That will be the third set of lenses in these frames. Maybe it is time to move on....but I don't know what I would get. Right now I have the requisite nerdy-girl black frames.

  • I need to know if this works! My fi insists on wearing those transition lenses, and learned at our engagement shoot that they look ridiculous in photos because they're never quite dark, never quite clear. I'm insisting he get a cheap pair for the wedding, and since he's practically blind a non-prescription pair isn't an option. I hope this site is as great as it looks!

  • I need a new pair too.  I'm waiting until end of next year's FSA though.  I have no clue what this new insurance is going to be like so we're just putting $300 in the FSA and getting glasses and contacts to use up what's left.
