I have a new favorite beer. Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor from Het Anker. I still have not been able to find their Grand Cru of the Emperor anywhere outside of one restaurant in DC.

Anyway, Hopsinjoor is nice and hoppy without being too bitter. I made the tough decision recently that Rogue Ruination and Lagunitas Hop Stoopid are just too much for me.

I seem to recall that you tend more toward sours, but if you're ever looking for a good blonde or something like an IPA, this is one I highly recommend.

I believe I have had this.  My first remembrance is "Well, I didn't want to throw up." 

Hop Stoopid just hurts me.  I just can't do an IPA, especially those hyper-hopped ones.  Even the beer guy was finally like, You know what, V?  You don't have to try IPAs anymore.  You've been a trooper about trying everything I've opened and you don't like any of them.  Just quit.
 
Though, from what I can tell, it's the Cascades hops that I don't like.  I think they're just bitter and...grassy.  The other 4 main hop types, I'm pretty okay with.

The Lips of Faith line has a Belgium Blonde in it that is FABULOUS.  But new new go-to beer that I don't seem to be able to quit is Sweaty Betty from Boulder Brewing Company.  SO perfectly balanced, it's just one of the most well made beers out there, in my opinion.

I'm talking so much about this, b/c we've quit drinking for the most part.  When you start recycling and can see how much glass you're collecting, it's...eye opening.  Let's leave it at that.

Oh God, when I started homebrewing we saved bottles. I had close to 10 cases worth in under a month. But that just made me quit collecting bottles )

I generally like IPAs, but once you get over 60ish IBUs I can only handle a few sips. Hop Stoopid is over 100, which is humans' bitterness threshold.

Hopsinjoor has no cascade hops, which is probably why it's so comparatively mild.
