Argh!!!

I ordered 30 pounds of beach glass from saveoncrafts because the picture looked exactly like the color of green I wanted-coke bottle green. I can't believe I wasn't smart enough to only order 1 pound first!!! ARGH!!! It just arrived and it's GREEN green. Not at all like the picture and not what I wanted. Thought I'd be able to check that off the list. Boo. Now to decide if I can make due with it.

    Sorry! Yep, you can never trust the color on your computer to real life colors.  Been there! Hopefully you can make it work!

    i agree, never never trust the comp first. can you return it? you probably got scammed with the price of shipping huh? i'm sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    That sucks! Thats why I really have to try hard not to online clothes shop as well. Unless I see it in a catalogue and can order it online, I try not too.
    I really hope you can do something with it though!

    Oh, man...that sucks!  If it doesn't work out and they won't let you return/exchange it, maybe you can sell it on craigslist to someone else. 

    Then you might want to check out Bedrock Industries in Seattle.  They have the most beautiful colors of tumbled glass in several different sizes!  Plus you can take your swatches of fabric with you to get a perfect color match.  They are just under the base of the Magnolia bridge.
