Wedding Woes

Kids these days need to get off my lawn.

http://www.cnn.com/2011/09/27/tech/web/online-bullying-poll/index.html

In an Associated Press/MTV poll, 56 percent of respondents, who were between 14 and 24 years old, said they had "experienced abuse" through digital media.

Some of the most common forms of harassment include posting something online that's not true, writing things online that are "mean" and sharing texts or other messages that were meant to stay private, according to the results.

I do think there's a difference between 14 and 37 when it comes to internet "bullying."

[QUOTE]well, maybe adults need to toughen up, but minors these days have it harder than we did when we were 14 years old. i said this before, but these kids are not mature enough for the technology they are bombarded with. so some might need to toughen up, but the "bullies" have an unfair advantage.

I think there's a difference between someone being "mean" and actual bullying. Plenty of people have been mean to me in my life. I've never been bullied (except by my mother).

I also think that kids have less of an ability to 'turn it off and walk away"
Should they? sure. But, hell, kids coldn't walk away from Members Only jeans and acid washed jeggings, they CERTAINLY can't walk away from facebook.

But I also thnk that 'bullying' is a term used to lightly.
