I've tried to type this at least three times, but it never comes out not sounding like a tradegdy whore post, so I guess it is one?
My Grandpa was diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer last night. The doctors gave him 2-6 months to live. No one wants to tell him. He's 92 years old so it's not like he had a lot of time left anyways, but he was one of those I'd thought would live to see 100 (and still be working). It sucks and I'm sad.

One of my grandpa's doctors told my mom that past 90 you are almost certain to get cancer of some kind, not necessarily aggressive cancer.  But stage 4 does not sound good.  ((((hugs))))

CW - you know my mom was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer at 52, right? I kinda know what you are going through. If he goes though chemo, he may make it longer than that, but he needs to make that decision. Let me know if you need anything. I can't really internet today, I have lots to do. oh min. I had forgotten that hers was pancreatic as well, I'm so sorry. Thank you. They wont do chemo because he is so old, and they wont operate on him either.

CW - If it is stage 4, they can't operate. It sounds like they are just going to have to try to make him as comfortable as possible while he is here. I am sorry for you and your family.
